spohn panhard bar

does a non adjustable panhard bar from spohn improve centering the rearend or would it be a waste to get a non adjustable. my rear is not centered and i can get this panhard off of a wrecked car right now pretty cheap but its a non adjust tubular. this car also has non adjustable spohn trackbars. would those benefit much?

You can only center an out of line axle with an adjustable bar.

thats what im thinking even though all the sites say that the non adjust re centers the axle and the adjustable is for lowered cars. i mean it might be worth it to see if it changes at all and it should handle a lil better

Re: spohn panhard bar

If the new bar is longer or shorter than OEM, than yes, it can move the left wheel in or out from the centerline. However, since aftermarket non-adjustable bars are supossed to be the same legth as the OEM bar, it will not move the axle fore or aft. Take a look at how the bar mounts. One side attaches to the body of the car, the other the axle. A longer bar will push the axle to the left, a shorter will pull the axle to the right.

Adjustability everywhere is your friend...Adjustable SFCs and PHB are always a good idea especially if you plan on racing it at all...
