SLP Eibach springs vs Pro Kit

I want to buy some new springs. I see that SLP sell the Eibach springs that they put in there SS's. However it says 93-02. If I look at the Eibach prokits there are different part numbers for the 93-97 and 98-02. I know that the LS1's had different spring rates then the LT1's due to the lighter engines.

So I wonder how SLP can sell a 93-02 kit? Would this be bad if I put them on my 94?

That's good info. Thanks!!

I see that SLP sell these springs as the "Optional Eibach Package" for 93-02.

I wonder how they can brand these springs as fit all?

I wonder what would be better for a 94 the actual prokit or these "made for SLP " Eibach's?

They work as a fit all because they have more rate than either stock spring. Just like the 1LE and pretty much every other aftermarket spring.

The good thing about the SLP Eibiotch are that you can get SLP Bilsteins valved for them. The pro kit you have to get someone to valve you some or run Koni. Plus I've read too many threads about prokits sagging in the rear.

It is not at all that simple. First, you can't generally lump Pro-kit's all together, the LT1 version is very different than the LS1 version. But you can use either one on either car. The cars don't weight anything different...

SLP springs are not very low at all. And they are not very stiff at all. They are more comfort than handling. LT1 Pro-kits are more hanlding than anything, and LS1's are looks above all, and with good shocks can handle pretty well but you do sacrifice some things like ride.

And there are lots of other springs options as well, you don't have just think Eibach. FWIW
