shocks . . .

i have a 1996 z28 . i was told that i need rear shocks . the place i took it to said it would be around a $170 for shocks and labor . i was wondering if i could by the shocks and do it myself . could you please tell me how to do it . thanks

Yes, you can do it yourself. Injuneer has a nice set of instructions.

They're dead simple to replace.
installuniversity.com or ls1howto.com should have instructions with pictures.
