I'm thinking about getting a set for my car.Is there much performance difference between the 2 pt & 3 pt SFC's ?? How about install & clearance issues between the 2 ? Anything I should know about ? I haven't decided between weld on or bolt on,if I do the bolt on I'm still gonna have them tack-welded so the holes don't elongate .

 

I'm running a set of BMR tubulars. They don't cost me any ground clearance and really firm up the car. I would go with weld on.

 

If by 3 point you mean the double diamond, don't get them. They are not worth it and it messes up with aftermarket exhaust and other things.

i have heard the Double diamond are not as good as SLP, and the SLP have no exhaust issues...

They dont "mess" anything up. Some exhausts, but people usually work around it.

 

My Hotchkis 2pt tuck in really nice. You'll never notice em till you jack the car up by them. ...as in..they hide well, good ground clearance.

 

I've got the Global West weld-ons. They fit great and you can't see them without sticking your head under the car.

 

would it be a big difference between tubular and boxed sfc. We have a lot of speed bumps here in california.
