Sfc????

With the mods in my sig. would subframe connectors be a good investment and what would i get out of them if so? Also, any other suspension or chassis upgrade suggestions??

This topic has been Posted numerous times with the PRO/CON about them. No one is going to decide for you, just make up your own mind about them. My opinion is thet are needed a on Uni-body car no matter what the Mods..

Wow, then lets just tell everyone not to post anymore since everything posted has already been talked about. I can't stand when people have responses like that. This forum is for advice from personal experience. I'm sure it would take a lot longer to look for a post about someone with the same hp and mods as me who has sfc than to just start a new thread. It's really not a big deal and if you don't like it then don't read the post. Sorry i just needed to vent about this i'm just tired of people trying to make others scared to post something cuz they are scared to get harrassing responses.

Re: Sfc????

With the numbers you have posted in your sig., I would venture that sfc's are a good chassis upgrade. Plus, they are a very affordable item as well. I picked up a pair of Spohn weld-ins on sale for 130.00

He's right though, the topic has been beaten to death. He's also right that they are good for any unibody car, especially for a Fbody..even with stock horsepower numbers.

Re: Sfc????

I think they are definitely worth it. They are but a part of the whole chassis and suspension which needs to work together. I have the weld in Hotchkis and have had them since 1995. They fit/look great with no ground clearance issues...If I bought some now I'd use the Spohn stuff. Great products and customer service. I live an hour from them and stop in from time to time. Their stuff helped my get those good 60's on little radials...

Re: Sfc????

I have the following suspension pieces done to my TA:

SLP SFCs
BMR Relocation Brackets
Lakewood LCAs
Front TPS strut tower bar
DMS Springs
SLP take off shocks
BMR adj Panhard Bar
18" OZ Fittipaldi Tubolare rims with Kumho 712 rubber

The car gives the feeling that it would be able to drive upside down. And to think it would be even better if I went with a better tire and better shocks....

EDIT: oh and it was a huge difference after I put the SFCs on, cut down on creeks and rattles big time. made the car feel solid as a brick
