97 Camaro with the following problem
- Squeak and metal contact sound in the right rear
- Did it when going over most bumps
- Hear inside and outside the car
- Can be hear when you push down on the rear of the car
- Sounded like its inside the rear quarter panel

I first sprayed parts of the rear suspension with oil (Sway bar busings, links)..no change

The problem was: Loose upper shock bolt, it was very loose and allowed the shock to hit/rub the body

Just lay down the back seat, pull up the carpet, pull out the plug and tighten the nut.

The whole time I thought it was someting like a failed shock
