RH/LH Threaded Tubes

Hey guys, I need a little help with something. I can find threaded tubes all day long that are 5/8" or 3/4", but I need the tubes to be threaded 1/2"-20. I have pretty much given up on the idea of finding them so I looked at just getting some 7/16" ID steel tubing and then threading it myself, but I'm having problems finding vendors for only a couple of feet. I've also looked into using tube ends which I can find (7/8" OD .65 wall) but again I can't find tubing to weld them to in small lengths. I only need two pieces about 8" each that I can use for tie rod tubes to finish my manual steering conversion. Anybody have any ideas on where to look? I've already tried Smiley's Racing, S&W Racecars, HRP Racing, and a few others I can't remember right now. Thanks!!!

you can try coleman.com, bicknell race parts, a&a manuf online, there are several places on line, just have to spend the time googling.

If you can not find what you are looking for let me know, I will do more research for the items if you want me to.

Have you tried buying tubing locally? Look in the phone book under metal or something along those lines. I have a local place that sells steel of all dimensions and they cut when you buy. They will sell any amount. I have bought one foot of steel tube before.
