Resurfacing Rotors

Can you resurface slotted rotors?

Yes, you can. However, you can not do it the conventional way. CD/Slotted rotors have to be "machined" like a flywheel is. Not sure on what it costs, though. I need to get a set of mine done but have not checked around to see where or how much this would cost.

Come to think of it he did they would need to be re-surfaced,not turned,& he didn't mention a price either.I guess it would be best to call around to local machine shops & see if they'll do them & how much.

I had a set (two) resurfaced for about $25 each. It wasn't worth it, frankly. By the time they took off enough to make the rotors flat, they were virtually down to the minimum thickness anyway (and the slots were virtually gone).
