Replacing Stock Pads or Upgrade??
Just wondering what some of you guys thought.
I need new brakes REAL soon. The back one has been warped for some time now and its getting annoying fast. So i just have a few quick questions.
1. If i decide to just replace the stock pads and all Are oreillys brake pads any good? I'm not looking to spend alot of money just something that will stop decent.
2. Should i go for an ls1 brake upgrade?? I've heard it isn't hard and isnt that much. Also how hard is it?
3. What is the normal cost about buying all the ls1 stuff i need ect?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: Replacing Stock Pads or Upgrade??
Depending the life of your rotors, I'd just resurface them for $20 bucks and you could replace them with some pads like what I got..rayesbestos semi-metallic from pepboys for $100 and somethin bucks. Contact Brent for Decals and repaint calipers. Were not rich since you have to buy spindles and maybe replace joints while were at it ..so my opinion is to keep the wallet modest but do not cut corners.. replace everything that needs to be replaced..especially warped. And no I have no sqeeks..
