replaced master cylinder
replaced master cylinder
need some help,
I just replaced my master cylinder. I bled all four wheels and ABS module. The "Brake" light is on. The pedal goes near to the floor and I believe it is pretty evident that air may be in the system. I bought that special tool that one pumps to draw fluid out from the bleeder valves on the caliper.
The tool is not working to good.
Whats the worst amount of air anyone has had in their brake systems? I was not able to bench bleed the master cylinder prior to installing.

Re: replaced master cylinder
When I replaced my rear lines with braided it took about forever to bleed the system. I went through about a quart and a half of brake fluid doing it the old fashioned way.
Re: replaced master cylinder
if you have traction control then you will need to use a scan tool if not try to bench bleed the master first if you dont you can bleed all the brake fluid in the world out of your calipers/wheel cylinders and can still get air in because of the angle of the master traps air in it
