Rebuilding calipers?

When is it necessary to rebuild calipers? Any site on doing this?

rebiulding calapers,
I dont know man, I dont think you can even get a rebiuld kit.

new or rebiult calapers should be gotten when they start to drag.

You can rebuilt calipers. The difficulty is removing the piston. You will need to do this by forcing it out with compressed air. Rebuilt kits are sold with the seals, and I have seen kits with stainless steel pistons also. The other parts, bleader, banjo bolt etc are all available also.

If you are disassembling your caliper for powder coating or something, like I did, then you will need a rebuilt kit. If there is something wrong with it (binding) I would just replace with a rebuilt or buy a new one.

There isn't anything to them if you can get the piston out of there.
