Rear end gear help

I have a 93Z and the rear end is going out. I havent taken the cover off yet, but I know that they have to be replaced. What I would like to know is if the same 342 gear from an s10 would work. Im not sure if the abs ring is part of it or not. Thanks for any info

Re: Rear end gear help

I am just assuming that there is a abs ring behind the ring gear. Is that how the rear abs is set up on a 93 Z?
