Question rear end fell out =/

hey guys, need some help. today i was driving my 1995 z28 6 speed and the torque arm came loose and dug in the ground (in my yard) sending the tail end of the car in the air and snatched the rear end, coil spring, shocks, ect. out from the car. i no how to replace most of it but im not sure how the rear coil springs are installed any advice will be greatly appreciated also when the springs flew out so did whatever holds them in so i have no clue what is supposed to be there

nothing holds them in. They just sit in their spot. The shocks limit travel keeping them under a load which keeps them from falling out when the suspension is relaxed.

when i put this rear in my camaro i just set them on the rear end and then jacked it up in place just make sure you have those rubber boots turned to fit your springs..

which rubber boots ? im not sure what they look like, thanks guys

They are black disk shaped things with an indent for the end of the spring to fit in.
