Question Rear brakes off a 2000 Camaro?

If I get the rear brakes off a 2000 Camaro and put them on my 1997 camaro do I have to use the axles off the 2000 Camaro?
I also have traction control witch means I have a reluctor wheel on both axles.
I would like to replace them because my parking brake sucks.
Thanks,

Yes, you will need the later model axles.

Yes, I did this conversion, the LS1 axles are ~1/4" shorter.
