Questions for stock suspension running 1.70s!
Now I say stock however I just now put some SBCs on it last week. My question is this; what suspension items should I install to help the Z 60' any better as I need in order to reach my 11.99 goal for a bolt-on 6spd. LT1? I have been doing some research and found that tubular LCAs are a good improvement, along with relocation brakets and some more shocks for sure as mine are original with 124K miles on them.
Anyone think I can possibly improve upon my 60' of 1.70s through suspension work with the stock rearend? I also just replaced the gears and added the TA cover and accessories to help the gears stay together. I usually run my ET streets with 16" salad shooters and letting out at around 3500-4200 depending on how the car feels on that day/night of racing.
I'd go nuts if I could run fairly consistent mid to low 1.6x 60' times and that is what I need for the E.T. I want to achieve.
Thanks,
Eric

Thanks 94Zpower,
I think I'm leaning towards getting LCAs and relocation brackets first. Spohn mentions a possible gain of .10 or possibly more with their relocation brackets. I'll of course take that with a grain of salt, however if I did improve a .10, that would be great!

Re: Questions for stock suspension running 1.70s!
I just bought a panhard bar and LCA's with the relocation brackets but havent installed them yet, more people have really been happy with the adjustable torque arms as compared to just the LCA's and brackets.
I just picked up a BMR adjustable TA also once all the new parts are installed i will let you know how it feels on the car . I am hoping that it will help my NA 60ft down, which is now a 1.8 down to a 1.6 . (on my ET streets)
