Is it possible for the front end to be out of alinment by almost 1" ???
Is it possible for the front end to be out of alinment by almost 1" ???
I think I blew it big time. I hit a curb hard enough to blow a tire. And
now the right front tire is almost 1" out of alinment. By 1" 'out of alinment'
what I mean is when I measured from the front of the front wheel and
then measured from the rear of the front wheel the measurment
was almost 1" in wider in the front..... Is this possibly an alinment issue or
are we taking something major like a bent frame??? I looked but can't see
anything thats bend or broken..... PLEASE HELP!!!
.... Thank you, Bill....

....TTT, come on guys/gals, aren't there any alinment pros out there??
I'll post over on the LT1 site tonight, as there is more 'traffic'.... Bill...
ps, oh in my above post when I refer to 'wheel' I meant to say the rim....

There's no way that I can think of that hitting a curb would put your toe out of alignment by an inch without bending something. A tie rod, a spindle - something's tweaked. Probably not your frame though...

....Thank You LPE Dave, I will check out the spindle & the tie rod
tomorrow. Whew, glad its NOT the frame though!
... It was probably
just 'wishful thinking' hoping that it was 'only' a front end alinment. When
the left front wheel is pointed straight ahead the right front is REALLY
NOTICABLLY pointed out to the side..... Thanks agian
