Pinion Angle help needed!

Hi-

Installing my BMR Torque arm. I have 5 on Torque Arm plate and 2 on driveshaft from driver side. Is this ok? I know the diff is supposed to be -2 or -3.

Please advise - Thanks!

Re: Pinion Angle help needed!

When the driveshaft and the bottom surface of the torque arm mounting bracket are at the same angle, that's 0. From there, adjust the torque arm so the pinion moves lower. That's negative pinion angle. Adjust the pinion downward until you get the difference in degrees that you are after. Hope that helps.

Re: Pinion Angle help needed!

Well, it is on. From Driver side, 5 on Pinion, 3 on Driveshaft. Passenger side, -5 on Pinion, -3 on driveshaft. Tightened everything down and road tested. Quiet operation, launched at 1500, 2000, 2500 with no drama, front seems to want to rise more than before and car is much more level. No squealing tires...

I am pretty impressed. I only spent $200 on this used, so it was a really good bang for the buck mod. I can't wait to get to the track!
