Pretty drastic difference, I'm sure your braking has much improved. Were there any pitfalls to doing that conversion?

I had to do a lot of grinding on the caliper because of the wheel. Had it been an 18" Z06 rim it would've been no problem. Since I have such a big lip, the 5-star was pushed further inward. It's a simple install really. All you need are the caliper mounting brackets, LS1 brake lines, new rotors and pads, and the tools.

Looks great, I don't want to know what that ran you though. How's the new braking feel?

What size are those wheels? The numbers on the tires looks like it says 245/40/16, but I didn't think you could fit even c5 brakes under a 16"

It's night and day, I couldn't believe the difference.

Besides the calipers (which I got through a friend) here's the breakdown -

Caliper brackets - $90
Rotors - ~$230
Pads - ~ $80
LS1 stainless steel brake lines - ~$60
4 caliper mounting bolts, 8 bracket mounting bolts -~$25

not bad, but I bet the calipers are $150 easy. Did you just do the fronts? what are you planning on for the back?

I'm not going to change the rear. The single piston PBR's are plenty capable since most of the stopping power is in the front anyway.
