Parts Finally Arrived

Well I finally got my LCAs and PHB from UMI today, I placed the order on April 29th with Herron Performance. So basically I have had to wait for a month for them, but they do look like nice pieces and hopefully waiting this long was worth it I'm going to install them this weekend, but my car is waiting for pushrods so the road test will have to wait a while.

You should of ordered directly from UMI. I bought everything from them, and took me about 1-2 weeks to get it.

Then you have kind of a trade-off. You might get the parts faster, but you will pay a little more going factory direct, then if you were to deal with one of the middle-men. Personally, I will wait a little longer if I can save a few bucks. Not like I am in a rush to install suspension parts where I am fighting old rusted bolts and breaking my knuckles open.

Technically you save money by getting it from UMI. If you get it from Company X and they get it from UMI, Company X Marks up the price to make some profit. In this case Herron Performance has the same exact prices as UMI does on the UMI website. PLus you dont have to worry about the middle man taking longer to get the product to you. When I ordered my things I was emailing back and forth with Ryan the owner. UMI have superior Customer service.

Yeah but the middle-man often gets bulk pricing that you won't get.

I wait for the middle-man to run a sale.

Young over at Byun Speed hooked me up a lot cheaper than what UMI would have cost me. Got my K-member in 9 days. Cant complain at all about that. Just send him a PM on what you want and he'll get you one hell of a deal.
