Parking Brake not working??
Re: Parking Brake not working??
There's no adjustment on the cable that I know of. First verify that the cable and lines are in place (runs above the driveshaft along the floor pan). Also verify that you still have "meat" on your rear brake pads. If the cables and balancer are "in tact", and there's meat on your pads, there's an adjustment screw on the rear brake caliper. Here's a link to Shoebox's site showing the adjustment:

Re: Parking Brake not working??
I thought I had same problem, after awhile changed complete Braking system et.
I put PB on then gave it some throttle, and car would move, so I thought system did not work, however., the cable activate calipers, and when turn off engine, car rolls slightly into the brakes, not the auto. trans, So do you figure it does not work because you are also giving it throttle and it moves, instead of letting the car roll slightly into the PB. and lock. Try it on an incline. at least this was my experience, I also thought as with previous cars that when you put PB on car would stay there while increasing throttle..not with this car....Theo
