ordered bilstein shocks

well after reading many posts on here i decided to replace my shocks with bilsteins. anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the advice. i rarely post so sorry if this is trite. i have heard that installing the rears isnt so bad but the fronts suck, so i guess i will end up paying someone to just do it in the spring when i get my car back out.

thanks again,
adam

I'm sure you'll be happy with them. IMO, it's worth paying someone else to do them, but I'm not the most mechanically inclined person ever.

The fronts are a supreme pain. If you can swing it, it would be worth letting a shop do it.

Just did mine last weekend along with some 1le springs off a guy on the board. You will like. Ride quality is almost same as stock comfort-wise, but the handling is much better. I can whip through some curves now that were leaners before.

Re: ordered bilstein shocks

sweet. im pretty excited for this spring. im also trying to get bigger wheels/tires. i figure that a wider wheel with obviously wider tires would give me some extra traction. surface area is always good haha. i was considering springs but are they really worth it? i dont want to bottom out and there a few speed bumps/big bumps around town. has anyone had trouble with the car being too low?
