opinions on shocks

hi, im new and my father wanted me to ask a question on his '94 Z.

he wants to know what u guys would recommend on shocks that wouldnt cost much more then $700.

any info would be great! thanks.

road racing, autocrossing, and light drag, or just want adjustable for an awesome ride. Buy Koni Single Adjustables. My personal preference
Good street, some road courses, go with Bilstiens
Drag Racing, go with QA1 adjustable

Koni's are always good. Bilsteins are good if your car isn't lowered. Bilsteins for F-bodies are unfortunately not made for lowered applications. YOu would have to get them re-valved.

But how does he use the car? You need to know whether the car is simply used for daily driving/cruising, or if its used for any form of competition, like Auto-X, road racing, track drag racing, street drag racing etc..... You can't select the correct shocks without knowing that information.

well, he basically uses it for summer use, back and fourth to and from work. sometimes he'll have a race with someone on the highway but nothing real extream. he's real light on the gas petal

If thats the case, a set of Bilsteins would be good for his application.

yeh, he has a set of Bilsteins on his '95 Bronco Sport so when he read that u guys would recomend them, he was pleased

I would go blisteins there 319 or so shipped I think. Great shock.
