One side lower than the other.

So here's the Deal, when I bought the car (used) I had the shocks replaced. now, 30k miles later, I got some new Sensatrac shocks on all 4, the thing is that last time they were installed on the place I bought them from. I got the new ones installed on a friend's shop. He said that the last shocks on there were a bit wider and they would fit normally but now the mounting bracket that is on there is too big for the new shock and he had to soilder a part so that it would fit. So now the car is basically about 1.7cm lower on one side than the other.

What happened? did the other shop replace my mounting brackets? Do I need to get a new one or what?

I know my friend's shop didnt screw me on this one as I have been taking cars there for years and never had a problem.

any help is appreciated.
