The LCAs are alot cheaper, you can get a brand new set for 95.00 to 115.00. An adjustable torque arm will probably help with traction more, but the cost is greater and a little more difficult to install. The torque arms range in varities and prices, but look to spend anywhere from 300.00 to 500.00 brand new depending on the options.
