New brakes

well i'm new to the brake world here and was really in need of new pads or mabye gettin a whole new setup and ideas? or what brands are good what pads dont put out as much brake dust and what disks are good, i have no clue. just need a startin point on this.

If you want to upgrade, you could do the C5 conversion. You'd need some brackets like LG's, C5 calipers, and C5 rotors. Lots of information on this topic available via search.

LG's? I thought Bob Bishop Brackets was the only way to go?

He has a LS1, so LG's will just bolt on.

ok i'm like 98whiteZ28...i'm new to the brakes...i also need new brakes and was wondering if vette rotors would work cause they're bigger but all the threads i found were for LT1 conversion to LS1 or C5 but no LS1 to C5??? what's the deal? do you have to get the calipers to?
