Need Suspension Help

Gentleman,
I guess its time for a suspension upgrade. I have a 97SS. I have been seeing advertisements on polyurethane front end kits and I am interested but dont know much about them. Can you all please give me some feedback? Also, I am not sure what size sway bars that the SS's came with. As long as I am upgrading, might as well do these too. Thanks in advance.

Changing the bushings out on the front is a real PITA. Next time, I ain't doin' it if the car don't need 'em.

I think I spent almost as much time doing the front bushings as I did the clutch swap..

Everything you need is right here : http://www.bmrfabrication.com/faqs.htm and www.spohn.net

Just start out with weld in SFCs, Torque Arm, LCAs with brackets, and maybe a STB (althought I dont feel it's needed for straight line performance). Hope this helps

EDIT : I just saw your sig and you already have some of that stuff. But I guess you could still look at what tho's two sites have to offer anyway. Good luck!!

I mostly concentrated on the rear of mine, and I'm pretty happy with the results. I have polyurethane sway bar mounts, end links, and torque arm mount(very needed), plus the ones that came with the rear control arms and panhard. Pretty sure it could kick some *** on the skidpad now, even without the front control arm set.

I'm guessing you're looking for more all-around performance, not just necessarily straight-line. The SS sway bars aren't too bad, so unless you feel you absolutely have to, I'd skip the sway bars. Are the endlinks stock? Might want to throw a set of Energy Suspension bushing on to replace the OEM ones. They'll make a little difference and it's not hard to do. Might want to look into an adjustable panhard rod as well to improve the handling a little. Not much more you can do w/o getting into the shocks/springs/sway bars.

BTW, any problems running a larger sway bar w/ the STS system?

No, no problem at all. And thanks for your input. The car actually handles very well. I am leaning toward leaving things alone.
