Need help--Whats the part called that connects to the tie rod?

Talking Need help--Whats the part called that connects to the tie rod?

Hey Guys

My '97 z28 was involved in an accident and the part that connects to the tie rod was BROKEN, whats that part called?

I think you're talking either about the spindle, where the wheel / brakes are - or the center link, which connects the two tie rods.

Outer tie rod connects to the steering knuckle (cast metal piece) and to the inner tie rod (threaded rod).

it goes:

wheel -> spindle -> outer tie rod -> adjuster sleeve -> inner tie rod -> center drag link -> pitman/idler arm
