Need help choosing springs

I have a 93 Z28 and have been wanting to lower it. I want it to be about 1.5" lower in the front and about 1" in the rear. Should I buy a set of springs that drop the whole car 1" and then cut the front ones to make them 1.5"? Also, what brand of springs should I get? I've seen Eibachs on Ebay for around $180 or so, is that good ar should I get another brand? Any suggestions would be helpful.

you're welcome....asshatt :blah:

great way to encourage someone to help.

why do you want to drop the front more?? make it look like a redneck mullet mobile??
usually you drop the rear more than the front.

i would just buy the springs separate.

but you realize having mismatched spring rates (and lowering amounts) will negatively affect your handling??

Global West makes some springs with dead coils that can be cut out so rid height can be adjusted. Eibach's are popular for street use. For competion use a linier spring is prefered. I know that most spring manufactures do not advise you to cut your springs.

You could do a search too
