What shocks do you guys think I should get for my 94 Camaro? It has a mostly stock V6 that I am swapping out soon and stock suspension. I want to use the car for drag racing and dont really care how it handles.

 

Qa1's all around.....they are a good budget drag shock. If it is for racing only get the springs too

 

Agreed, if the car is only going to see track duty, then QA1s on all corners will be a good choice.

 

I would just get some cheap LS1 take offs, stock V6 springs, remove the front sway bar, put on some slicks and go dragging. There are guys here running V6 springs and cheap shocks as their "racing suspension" and they cut good times.

Give it a try, if it isn't what you want then you're not out much, if anything. BUT...if it works for you then you just saved $$$ for other mods or fuel.
