I would think an LS1 brake conversion on the rear would be more than sufficient Just a thought

i want the rotors slotted and drilled, does the ls1 come with those? i know most of the stopping power is in the front anyway

The car doesn't have to come with butchered rotors to get them. You can easily buy x-drilled and slotted LS1 rotors.
Keep in mind they're an appearance mod only.
I'd go C5 front and LS1 rear personally.

google KORE3

Baer is an upgrade. Even their stock sized rotors are heavier. But keep in mind, Baer isn't an upgrade because they put holes in the rotors.

Wilwood, I wouldn't run unless it was a drag car and wanted lightened rotors.

The C5 swap will be more than enough if you choose your pads well. I know guys running the C5 front kit in their track cars. Actually, I know a couple who are running LS1 brakes. They all run blanks and not the slotted & x-drilled rotors. The only guy I know that does (and actually races...not drags either) is running a Porche set up on his f-body and thats just the way they come. On his Camaro Mustang Challenge car he had a LS1 set up.

Aftermarket is going to be more expensive than upgraded stock components. You have to pay for their advertising.

IMO, it isn't worth the extra cost. If the C5 or C6 kit isn't enough brake for you the Baer kit won't be either. You can get a very noticable upgrade in stopping power by going with a "LS1" brake set up with some performance pads too. It all depends on you budget and desire to have 1" larger front rotors.

i looked in to the c5/c6 set up and it has a 13.4 inch rotor which is what im looking for. i wanted matching rotors for the rear and the one kit without the parking brake is 600 cheaper than the one with the parking brake. do i need a parking brake? is it worth the extra money? the rear kit has 13 in rotors so it would be close.
thanks

You can run LS1 rears and have 11.9" rotors out back for less money.

Again, this is the rear rotors the guys I know who run at the track use.
