Unhappy LT1 (95 Firebird) front brake line - where to get?

I have been trying to find new front brake hoses for my 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula. The first ones I got when I went to install them I attached it to the hard line and braket on the frame but then to attach it to the caliper I have to twist it 90 degrees. I know that is not the right way to install a line. I have tried the following
Part Number 77844 and 78356 from Autozone
Part number 78356 from Advance
Part numbers 380406 and 38907 from O'reillys
Part Number 380406 from napa
The part is no longer availble from GM

I am about ready to cut two new notches in the frame bracket.

Anybody else had this problem and what did you do.

Have you looked at CARQUEST part # SP9854...???

Hoses made by Brake Parts, Inc (aka Raybestos)
