Lt-1 brake caliper rebuild questions

I just got my brake caliper rebuild kit today. And I have a couple of questions.
1. In the haynes manual it says lubricate the clamp rod bushing with supplied lubricant, can someone point out to me which one is the lubricant? Is it the one in the bottle or the tiny little pack of blue colored grease? If I run out can I just use brake fluid to lubricate the parts that need to be lubricated?

2. One of the things that pisses me off is that when i release the hand brake after installing the disc brake system the lever doesnt return, so the springs on the lever should be the problem, what is the easiest way to install the new springs?
3. There is also a knocking sound coming from the rear end when ever i go over bumps, would this be the problem?
