Looks good, color combo you have going on there offsets nicely.

How difficult would you say the LS1 brake swap was? I've been thinking about tracking down some LS1 parts in a few months and just getting it done.

As long as you have all the right parts, the actual swap is very easy. It just took me forever because I wanted to save for good rotors and lines. I am hoping it is worth the effort in the end!

Since I found one in a junk yard recently, I'm thinking about going totally different and getting a set of brakes off a '99 V6 Firebird!

My LS1 brakes are off the V6 Firebird. They work perfect. The swap is VERY simple.

So the former V6 Firebird owner got brakes off an LS1 car?

Yes. For whatever reason, people call them "LS1 brakes", but yet C5's had LS1's in them too, but we don't call them "LS1 brakes". Technically speaking, they're just "Late-model 4th-gen brakes". Take your pick from either one (V6/V8) they're the same.
