You can usually find everything you need in the for sale section for ~$200. Then youll probably want new pads and rotors, so throw in another $150 at the least on top of that.

I agree with steveo, maybe if you shop around alot you can find a set for 100$. I almost bought that deal only catch was i had to send my lt1s back and i didnt have time to do the swap at the time. It came with new rotors and pads as well. I guess he was trading in his car and was gonna swap to lt1s before he traded it in to score a little extra cash.

When 70% of your braking force is in the front, why worry about the back. Just do what I did and put some nice pads on the back.

Yeah, i think its even more than 70% at the front. I've seen a few cars such as the saleen focus (I know its a lot different than fbods) that dont even have rear brakes.

Re: LS1 brake conversion price

I bought my LS1 setup off a seller on ebay for $165 shipped. The rotors were in great shape as well as the pads so i just reused them. I cleaned up the calipers and painted them installed the CAMARO caliper decals. Bought brake fluid, new ball joint rubber covers and by the time i was done installing the setup i had probably right at $200 in the whole setup. The brakes are awesome i love them.
