LS1 Brake Conversion

I've been looking around for an LS1 brake conversion for my LT1. I originally was told I need spindles, hubs, calipers/brackets and rotors/pads. I found a guy on ebay who says I don't need the spindles or hubs as they are the same for '93 to 02 cars. Any one have any info on that? Thanks in advance.

The steering knuckles(spindles) are NOT the same from 93-02. They changed them slightly in 98 for the different front brakes. Find someone selling the whole front setup for ya, not just the brakes.

It would be easier if you could get the spindles so you don't have to modify yours. The hubs are all the same, you don't need those.

I've got a pair of spindles and hubs that I am not going to use.
Make offer if you need them.
What the heck, make an offer on the complete setup, calipers, spindles, rotors, hubs, and lines. They are off of an 01 T/A. It will be a complete bolt on setup.

There's no way to modify an LT1 spindle to fit LS1 brakes.
I bought a whole setup like Zepher is offering you for around $150 plus shipping on theifbay and it turned out one spindle was bent when I went to have it aligned...another used spindle costs me another $65 from the alignment shop.

That just about covers it. I think you'll also want the LS1 Brake lines. I know some people get by with the LT1 lines but i dont' see how because my LS1 lines just barely got the job done and they're much longer than the old lines. I bought my setup complete off ebay for $165 shipped. The pads, lines and rotors were in great shape. All i did was clean every thing up, paint it, then slap it on the car.
