Lowering Question (Please help before I waste money)
Lowering Question (Please help before I waste money)
I just bought a 99 z28 its all completely stock minus the c5 corvette wheels that were on it. My question is, it has a 315/35/17 tire on the rear, has anybody lowered there car on this size tire and if so did you have to modify it to keep it from rubbing. Just wanted to find out if it can be done and how far it can be lowered before I waste money on drop springs. I don't want to slam it to the ground or anything, just want to do a 1-2 drop spring for a lower stance.
Re: Lowering Question (Please help before I waste money)
You should be able to do it no problem, I know people who run that size tire with no problems. I also hear about people who do have a little rubbing hear and there. If u get an ajustable panhard bar so u can center the rear after lowering it, should be fine. Search this forum, youll be amazed at the info thats on here.
