Looking for Bob Bishop Brake Brackets. Anyone?

Anyone know someone who has a spare set, or know where I can get my hands on some?

Thanks,
Dan

Talk to Trackbird, over at FRRAX. He set up some GP's with Bob for them. Tell him Bubba sent you.

Stereomandan,

What exactly is the benefit of using these? I'm doing the LS1 brake swap also and wondered if I should be looking into purchasing the aformentioned brackets.

Thanks

you're not going to find a set, because he doesn't make them anymore.

They allow you to bolt up corvette brakes, which are larger and better then even the fbody LS1 brakes

Not necessarily true. There were those who bought the brackets, but never got around to doing the conversion. I was hoping to find one of those guys.

I did realize that the last group purchase was late last year, but I was hoping someone might have a set that they weren't going to end up using.

It's o.k. though, since I'm just going to do the '98-'02 LS1 conversion.

Thanks.

There are a few guys that still MAKE the brackets. I believe you need to do a little checking over at Fbody.com.

Found some Bob Bishop brackets!

Going C5 instead of LS1.

Well shucks, it appears getting a PM to someone at 3am isn't the right tactics

Does anyone else have a set of Bob Bishop Brackets they are willing to part with? Thanks in advance for viewing the post, I hope someone out there doesn't need their set.... *crosses fingers*

Now I do not want to shoot myself in the foot by asking this but would either of these brackets work in place of a Bob Bishop Brackets (I really hope I don't see 20 bids tomorrow after asking this question)?

Thanks in advance for the help, I hope I am heading in the right direction.

I saw those somewhere else. I am VERY leery of them.

I know Bob spent a LOT of time engineering his brackets and bolts and it's a proven design.

I am nervous as well but tracking down a set of Bob Bishop Brackets seems to be near impossible. Anyone know of another source or a possible replacement?
