LG's brake brackets work with lt1 spindles?

Will the Lt1 spindle work with LGmotorsport C5 to Fbody brake bracket or will I need to get my hands on LS1 spindles? Thanks Cameron

They probably will, you'll just be cutting off more of the original spindle to make them work. (You'll be cutting off the bigger caliper mounting "ears")

The mounting bosses are in the wrong location on LT1 steering knuckles. You would need LS1 knuckles to use the LG adaptor brackets.

Seems stupid to me that LG wouldnt make a bracket like yours that can work with either spindle

I believe those were Baer brakes that they put on that SS. Which are actually just C4 brakes with the Baer name on them.

The brackets I've got aren't fitting correctly I've removed .30 on one edge of the bracket and also the two of the fins on the caliper. The spindle has to be clearanced for the caliper about .20 and the two of the bolt hole need to be redrilled to match the size on the abutment bracket. I paid 250. for this brack if I had to do it again I'd use Bob Bishop's bracket. RRRRR
