KYB opinions

Hey guys, I need to get new shocks for the Z, but do not have the money to shell out for the Koni's. I was thinking about the KYB AGX's. What are your opinions? I know they cost about half of the Koni's. FOR THE MONEY, are they a decent shock? Anyone running them? I know the Koni's are the greatest thing since sliced bread when it comes to shocks, but I just can't afford them. There are already lowering springs on the car, so I need something adjustable. Please let me know if the KYB's are "the next best thing" to the Koni's. Thanks!

In my opinion, the KYB's are the next best thing to Koni's. Sam Strano also recommends the AGX shocks if the Koni's are not affordable, and he knows his stuff.

I had the adjustable AGX shocks on my car for about two years and have no complaints.

Yeah, I talked to Sam Strano the other day and he was pushing the Koni's really hard. IIRC, he said the KYB's have decent valving, but not the build quality. He also said that he'd rather have the valving over the build quality if he had to choose. I guess that the Koni's and KYB's are the only adjustable shocks available for our cars. Anyone else have a decent opinion of KYB's?
