I want C5's up front and I'm tired of searching for a conversion used and don't have time to piece together. So I'm considering buying the Kore 3 conversion kit, as it's complete and the rotors are already painted ...decent price. Anyone have experience with it by using only the default calipers, rotors, and pads?:

Even the default would surely be much better than stock.

 

I did the kore_3 front conversion. 97ss 383_D1 MM6 trans. I like it quite alot. The C brakes way better than the stock 4th gen system.

I've been looking at and wondering about this same system. After a little research I found that swapping the Kore package's 2-pc rotors for Baer Eradispeeds (ebay), saves a little money.

A bump for ya... maybe someone has the kit and can comment further.

 

ive looked into brakes for a while now...

IMO, over all id spend 400 for a good LS setup....180 for conversion parts, 125 for slotted rotors, 80 for pads..

for c5, with the Kore 3 kit, slotted rotor, ceramic pad is 740 total.

IDK if the C5 is worth $350 more...


what do you guys think ??

 

Bought my C5 kit from Kore 3. Everything i needed including directions was in the package. Great Company.

 

Not sure about this Kore 3 company; I have an old set of Bishop brackets on mine with Powerslot rotors and they are above and beyond any LT1 setup. Definitely worth the time & cost.
