Just order C5 conversion kit, small question.

Ok i just order my c5 conversion kit for my 95.The kit include everything(pads, disc, caliper, brackets, bolts, washer ,etc) and bolt right in after cutting the two "ears".

My question: does the stock lt1 brake line(near new) will fit on the c5 caliper when using the banjo bolt of the corvette?

Thats it

Thank you

I used C5 lines, and ground off the mounting tangs. If you got a complete parts kit it should come with those lines.

The kit that i ve order doesnt come with brake line.I also know that i can use C5 lines but mine(the lt1 stocker) are less then 5000km and i need to know if they can still work with the banjo bolt of the c5 caliper .

Thanks

The kit I ordered last week also doesn't come with lines... however it clearly states that the kit includes EVERYTHING you need for the conversion. I expect that new lines aren't necessary.

I think that we order the same kit,the umiperformance one .The kit is complete but doesnt include brake lines...Mine is on backorder since they dont have the bracket in stock,i have to wait 2 weeks.

On their site they clearly state that the kit is all we need to install on our car,we just have to cut the 2 ears. But i just want to be sure and have the confirmation that the lt1 lines will work.

Ok for the info you dont need c5 brake lines for the c5 conversion. The lt1 should be fine.

The lt1 are just a little shorter, thats it.
