I need new shocks to go with Eibach sportlines
I need new shocks to go with Eibach sportlines
What shocks would go good with the 2" drop the sportlines give? I just got the car and it needs new shocks, the previous owner had already put the springs on. They definitely wouldn't be my first choice for springs...
Re: I need new shocks to go with Eibach sportlines
koni SA or DA will be the best for that very egressive spring.
if you dont like the springs though, I think the SLP spings and matched bilstien shocks would be better, it doesnt lower too much, little less then an inch, but it will give excelent handling. the new springs and shocks from SLP will be cheaper then just the Koni SA

i always thought the SLP setup was cheap, but i looked on thier website today it was something like 670 i can get eibachs and bilsteins for cheaper than that. strano has koni sa's for all 4 corners for something like 650 that would be better...

koni front, bilstein rear.
the SLP kit is 670.
better? now that depends what you want, and what you think is better.
The poster did say he didnt like the springs....
the koni sportline combo will perform great, with the cost to ride quality.
But the SLP setup will ride great, and handle great.

With that, I'm saying that the SLP combo would probably be his best bet, not to mention that the sportlines are easy to sell to make some money back.

Thanks for the advice. Where can I get the Konis at? I was looking in the Summit catalog and saw KYB AGX 5 way adjustables for fairly cheap. How are those springs? I forgot to mention this isn't a daily driver. I'll use the mustang for that.
