I just bought some lowering springs.

They came off of a 01 WS6, the fellow who I bought them from would have like to keep them but.......the is putting aZ06 style wheel/tire package on his Bird and it wouldn't work if lowered.

He bought them new last summer and only drove for 2 months - so they are still 100%.

I can't wait to put them on. I hear that they will give my Camaro a whole new yet sutble look.

They will lower my Z28 by and inch and half he says.

He had a Vert Bird, and the springs are meant for a hard top - but I have T-Tops.
I hope this isn't a big deal.

If I'm not mistaken, springs for a vert are different from a hardtop/t-top car. Better look into it before you install them. I would call the manufacturer first.

From what I understand after some research into it..........the springs for a vert are of a higher spring rate due to the added weight.

I feel confident that they will work wonderfully in my car.

More rate isn't always better. Any idea what brand they are?

They are Speedtech - Part number #63045.

I really can't find any info online for them for if they should be used for a vert or a hard top.

Everything online just says they are meant for a V8 1993-97 Camaro.

Seeing as that's what I have - I think they'll work.

No, they're silver in color - although they will soon be red.

Those are probably the Suspension Technique Speedtech springs then.

They'll be more than sufficient.

Honestly, I have never seen any spring rates that were shown to be different from a 'vert to a hard top. Besides year to year and 1LE, the only differences I've seen were from V6 to V8.
