Question How much can i lower my car?

I just installed some AFS 18x9.5 Z06 rims on my car last week, and it seems like my car sits higher. I always wanted to lower it, but i dont want any rubbing issues. the tires are 275/35/18. I was wondering if anybody could help me decide on what lowering kit to buy. and when i do lower it, what exactly do i have to do to keep from eating my brand new tires up any suggestions would help

I think you are seeing an optical illusion.
245/50R16 is 25.645" tall by my calculations, and
275/35R18 is 25.578" tall which is virtually the same size.

Therefore an 1" drop should be do-able

Dont I have to change something with the chamber angle or something of that sort. like get chamber adjusters or something like that, or do i just need to go get it aligned.
