How dow the Bilstein HD compare to stock?

Hello all, my '94Z is in need of some work. The stock suspension/steering are now 12yrs old and 115K miles. I intend to install new upper/lower ball joints and possibly tie rod ends too. As far as the shocks go, the car doesn't bounce like old worn out shocks, however Im guessing they are on their last let. I've been looking around and reading and it seems that the QA1 shocks, although nice, are a bit to much $$ for me. I've heard good things about the Bilstein HDs. What is everyones opinions on these? Im looking for a shock that is good for a daily driver, not to harsh, yet doesn't take away from handling. How do these compare to stock shocks? Thanks

Aaron

QA1's are for drag racing, not handling. Talk to Sam Strano at stranoparts.com; he's a 4th Gen suspension expert that will point you in the right direction for your style of driving.
