Holy SFC Ride Quality Batman!!

Had my BMR Chromoly Tubular Low clearance SFC's installed this morning.

The car has changed.... almost completly! It even takes bumps better!! I pulls straighter under throttle now!... Amazing!... I'll have to see how she takes turns this evening. I pulled into the shop parkign lot earlier and hit the throttle, she spun herself around. (I was kind of expecting and prepared for... I had room) Better power transfer to the wheels, I'm noticing that now.

i noticed the same.

i almost felt like the ride got rougher now that the suspension had to do all the work instead of the frame taking up some of the slack.

for the cost...it's a bad *** improvement

THis thing handles like it's on RAILS now! VERY responsive! We have a LOOOOOONG sweeping turn comming off base, a LOT of fun. Like a LONG HW off ramp. (about a mile long!!) THis car was just.....WOW!.... IT does take bumps a bit harder. Well, I do have rougher springs. ... Overall ENTIRE CAR ATTITUDE CHANGE! I am MORE than pleased!

I HIGHLY recomend these now!... More power transfer. This car is so responsive to ANY input now. Even braking! Touchy, touchy, touchy!

I have to find some road coarses around here!... OMG I want to REALLY drive this now!

That is the whole point of the subframe connectors. In order for the suspension to work properly the pivot points must be solidly located. This is why we always say the first thing to do is chassis stiffening. Good luck on your future mods.

I still have the KBDD subframes I put on the car when I bought it 10 years ago (has it been that long???) and they have proven to be a very worthwhile mod.

Yep, by far the best suspension mod I have done. It made a night/day difference in the ride quality of the car.
