Help...what should I buy first?

I just got some money in and my next mods are definetly SFC's. I was also thinking about gettin a STB but the more Ive been reading, I'm thinking about getting LCA's and relocation brackets before the STB. What are your opinions on what I should get first?.....also, Ive heard that if I get a STB, I should also get a wonderbar at the same time or else I won't be happy with the results? Is this true? Because I never really thought about getting a wonderbar and now I see they're not really that expensive, so maybe its not a bad idea. I just would like some more opinions. Any input would be helpful....Thanx!

Dude, this is a 4th gen F-body site. There won't be a lot of people who are knowelgeble about your sweet 3rd gen. Go to www.thirdgen.org and they can answer all your questions. Also, ask this in the 3rd Gen forum on this site.

Ya, the wonderbar was on the later years of the Z28's, IROC's, Trans am's etc.. They were suppose to stiffen up the front of the car by the steering gear box to help with the turns. From what I heard when I had my 3rd gen, they do work but you sometimes don't really notice it.

I put in a STB first in my car and I noticed the steering accuracy improved greatly, but began having a problem with a little oversteer. Did the sub-frame connectors next, and it felt like a whole new car. Get both, they are worth the money!

Ok, for one, Last time I checked this WASN'T JUST a 4th gen-F-body site so get your facts straight. For two, I didn't realize that the "Suspension, Chassis, and Brakes" forum was just for 4th-Gens because it's NOT! For your info, I have been to ThirdGen.org but I was just posting this here to get more opinions.

To everybody else, thanx for your input. I'll probably be gettin the SFC's and the LCA's first, then the STB second.

Dude, I didn't mean for you to get all offended.

All right, there is a place for 3rd gens on this site, but most of the threads are for 4th gen cars, and most of the people on this board own a 4th gen fbody.

I just wanted to mention 3rdgen.org because they are a tremendous resource for your car, a lot better one than this site IMO.

Dude, I'm sure your 92 Z is sweet, definetly one of the best looking cars GM has ever made.

Heck, I am just glad it was an actual part for any Fbod. I was thinking you were talking about a wonder BRA, adn i was going to refer you to some other type of board that is VERY different from this one.

IMO, STB are a waste of money. If you have the cash burning a hole in your wallet, then go ahead and buy it. A STB will be the very last thing I buy for my car, that's if I ever buy one.

Thumbs up

the $45 TDS wonderbar (third-gen specific) showed noticeable improvement in steering input & precision & front end handling on my previous 91 TransAm even after SFC's and Tokico shocks... it's a good mod

... man do i miss the way that 91 handled. my 95 cannot compete
