Going over bumps has a huge pounding sound

like if i hit a bump at any speed really .. its like the car is botoming out on the rear axle .. and i didnt know what to replace first .. the springs or the bottles ... and the car has just a all around crappy ride in the rear .. if anyone could recommend a spring and or bottle please do . i would like a 1 inch drop but a decent ride .. anythoughs ?

what the hell is a bottle?? the shocks??

it's probably bad shocks.

but if you want a small drop, go for some hotchkis 1" springs with some revalved bilsteins or Koni SA shocks.

but you should probably go through and check all your mounts and bolts. could be something broken or loose. particularly the LCAs, torque arm and trans mount.

i have a thumping noise coming from the rear and i thought it was the exhaust hitting something but it turned out to be my lca bushings,and i only have 84,000 miles on her.just a thought
