im currently swapping out my old front upper and lower control arms, and shocks/springs for qa1 coilovers, but am in need of the bracket for each side that the upper control arms bolt into. does anyone know what this part is called and where i can get it?

 

It's the Upper control arm Support.

 

thanks...i have done tons of searching and it seems like they dont make it aftermarket, and GM dealers only sell it together with the upper control arm...time to go to a salvage yard or fab something up...

 

I wanted mine powder coated so they wouldn't rust like the original ones. I found a pair on ebay at a pretty reasonable price that I could be ready and do the changeover all at once.

 

You can get them on Ebay, but just make sure you verify how rusty they are(there will be some rust), before you buy them.

 

found a solid deal on ebay...$33 for a pair that are only very very slightly rusty on the top surface...can be easily sandblasted and painted (which i will probably do as soon as i get them)...thanks guys
