factory springs and shocks?

I have a 94z28 w/ o.e ones and 88,000 miles on them. I have a chance to get some off a 99z28(approx 55,000 mi.). Are the 99,s specs different etc.Any opinions , driving impressions, etc would be helpful.

For the difference in 88k and 55k, I would not bother. IMHO, you would get a very small improvement (if any) and would not be worth the effort. The 99 may have a little less spring in the front, due to the lighter LS1.

Thanks for the reply.Due to having some of the worst city streets i am looking at some adjustable shocks by KYB. BTW i have KYB ON MY 79 z28 through they are the gas- a- just type and i,m on a budget so real high priced ones are n/a. Any driving impressions, etc. appreciated.

98 up springs are softer IIRC.

KYB AGX are virtually worthless.

Frankly, I wouldn't spend the money on the 99 suspension parts or the KYB adjustables. They are not going to give you a major improvment, if any, for the time and labor involved.
